Co-Organizers

The Research Institute of the University of Bucharest (ICUB) is a newly established research institute, representing the research division of the University of Bucharest. Its mission is to promote and stimulate outstanding research in all disciplines.

The institute has four divisions:

  • Exact Sciences
  • Social Sciences
  • Earth, Environmental and Life Sciences
  • Humanities

The institute encourages international and interdisciplinary projects and is actively engaged in establishing, promoting and encouraging international collaborations among scholars, at all levels. It offers several types of research fellowships: postdoctoral fellowships (http://icub.unibuc.ro/index.php/application/icub-fellowship-for-young-researchers), fellowships for visiting professors (http://icub.unibuc.ro/index.php/application/fellowships-for-invited-professors), and young researchers grants for academic staff within the university (http://icub.unibuc.ro/index.php/application/young-researchers-grant-ub).
