The Bucharest Conference in Analytical Political Theory aims to provide an annual forum for the debate of salient contemporary topics and challenges within the field of political theory, with a specific methodological orientation towards the analytical philosophical tradition. The conference has an international scope, with both Romanian and international scholars among the ranks of participants.
The conference is co-organized by the Bucharest Center for Political Theory and the Research Institute of the University of Bucharest (http://icub.unibuc.ro/).
The first edition of the conference will be held between 13-15 June 2019, at the Faculty of Law (University of Bucharest), with the topic “Thresholds in Justice. Sufficientarianism and Limitarianism Revisited”. Keynote Speakers will be Ingrid Robeyns (Utrecht University) and Liam Shields (University of Manchester).
